Rooftop Grease Containment

Exhaust fans leak grease onto the roof in between hood cleanings. This damaging grease voids roof warranties, causes costly repeairs, a fire hazard, and can lead to OSHA/EPA fines. We can install an affordable grease containment system and change them each cleaning to prevent this grease hazard.

Exhaust Fan Hinges
The NFPA Fire Code #96 requiers each exhaust fan to be hinged to allow appropriate cleaning and inspection. Hinging your exhaust fan is not only required by the code, but it is a win-win for the restaurant as it will help increase the life of the fan. The electrical wiring can be torn and exhaust fans can be damanged quickly if not hinged.

Fan Access Panel
The NFPA Fire Code #96 requires exhaust fans to have access panels so all areas of the fan can be access appropriately. Fan access panels allow the technician to clean the back side of the fan blades. Without access panels, the technician does not have access to clean the back sides of the fan blades resulting in grease build up on the blades causing the fan to become off balance, rattle, and wear out the bearings, belt, and overall effectiveness of the exhaust fan.
